BOARD ACTION REQUESTED:
Approval of an increase to the blanket PO to Aramark for the annual food services to the inmates of the Genesee County Jail.

BACKGROUND:
This request is necessary due to the increase cost of Consumer Price index (CPI) in the mutually agreed contract.

DISCUSSION:

IMPACT ON BUDGET:
Increase the blanket PO for Aramark by $45,000 to be paid from account 1010-351.00-762.000.

TO THE HONORABLE CHAIRPERSON AND MEMBERS OF THE GENESEE COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS, GENESEE COUNTY, MICHIGAN

LADIES AND GENTLEMEN:

BE IT RESOLVED, by this Board of County Commissioners of Genesee County, Michigan, that the request by the Office of Genesee County Sheriff to authorize an increase to the purchase order to Aramark to provide food and commissary services to inmates housed in the jail, in the amount of $45,000.00 to be paid from account 1010-351.00-762.000, said increase being necessary due to the increase in the Consumer Price Index, is approved (a copy of the memorandum request and supporting documents being on file with the official records of the October 8, 2025 meeting of this Board).
