Approval of a request by Genesee County's Surveyor to appoint members to the Remonumentation Peer Review Committee for 2026 (Surveyor)
BACKGROUND:
This is the 34th year of the remonumentation program. The annual grant program requires a peer review committee to confirm the work performed by contract surveyors and provides recommendations for resolving corners with conflicting or limited
DISCUSSION:
Each peer review member receives $150.00 per meeting. Meetings typically last 3-5 hours and historically there have been 3-4 meetings per grant. Funding from account number 2970-245.00-801.004.

LADIES AND GENTLEMEN:
