BOARD ACTION REQUESTED:
Genesee County Parks and Recreation staff requests the approval of expenses to the following vendors for the purchase of vehicle and equipment parts and services in an amount not to exceed $35,000.00, for FYE 2027.

BACKGROUND:
This is for the purchase of parts and services only available from GM certified dealers. The purchase of vehicle parts and services from certified dealers is necessary to ensure Parks Department vehicles and equipment remain safe, reliable, and operational. Utilizing certified dealers provides access to manufacturer-approved parts, trained technicians, proper diagnostic equipment, and warranty-supported repairs, helping reduce equipment downtime and prevent more costly repairs or premature replacement.
DISCUSSION:
Parks maintains 80 vehicles and 200 pieces of equipment which are used to maintain over 11,000 acres across Genesee and Lapeer counties. Preventative maintenance and repair are essential to keeping safe and reliable vehicles and equipment in operation.

Budgeted expenses to be paid from account 6665-770.11-931.000.
