BOARD ACTION REQUESTED:
Approval of a contract between Genesee County and Global Vision Technologies for FamCare software hosting and maintenance for the period October 1, 2025 - September 30, 2026, in the amount of $49,833.44, to be paid from account 2920-664.00-801.028.
BACKGROUND:
FamCare software provides the case management and workflow system for the Juvenile Probation Department.
DISCUSSION:
The FamCare software provides critical functions for a juvenile probation department. All juvenile case-level data is stored in the system, along with providing a workflow system for all court reports. The system allows the department to run required reports and evaluation tools that are relied upon to make data-driven decisions about youth programming.
IMPACT ON HUMAN RESOURCES:
None.
IMPACT ON BUDGET:
This is an approved budget item and is paid from 2920-664.00-801.028. The cost is Child Care Fund eligible, and the County is reimbursed at 75% of the cost.

None.
CONFORMITY TO COUNTY PRIORITIES:
The software provides a case management and workflow system that allows the department to operate more efficiently, and access needed data and information.
