BOARD ACTION REQUESTED:
Approval of a request to appoint Commissioner Martin Cousineau as a Member and Executive Board Member of the Genesee County 9-1-1 Consortium.
BACKGROUND:
Chairman Loyd is recommending the appointment of Commissioner Cousineau to serve as a member and executive board member of Genesee County’s 9-1-1 Consortium.
DISCUSSION:
Each new session the Board Chair makes recommendations to the full Board for the appointment of commissioners to certain boards and commissions. Commissioner Cousineau is a current member and executive board member on the Consortium and wishes to continue service.

TO THE HONORABLE CHAIRPERSON AND MEMBERS OF THE GENESEE COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS, GENESEE COUNTY, MICHIGAN
LADIES AND GENTLEMEN:
WHEREAS, the Genesee County Board of County Commissioners ("this Board”) is authorized to appoint a member to serve as a member and Executive Board member of Genesee County’s 9-1-1 Consortium; and
WHEREAS, this Board wishes to make such an appointment at this time.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that this Board hereby appoints Commissioner Martin Cousineau to serve as a member and executive board member of Genesee County’s 9-1-1 Consortium.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the appointee is subject to removal by this Board pursuant to Resolution No. 2023-273, and any relevant statutory authority.
