BOARD ACTION REQUESTED:
Genesee County Parks and Recreation staff requests approval of an expense to Carter Lumber for the purchase of a polebarn kit, in an amount not to exceed $29,566.84.
BACKGROUND:
Parks construction crew will be building a maintenance building at Wolverine Campground. The expense is for the purchase of a 35x60 polebarn kit.
DISCUSSION:
NO USE OF GENERAL FUND.

None.
IMPACT ON BUDGET:
Expense to be paid from account 2080-770.05-930.000.
IMPACT ON FACILITIES:
None.
IMPACT ON TECHNOLOGY:
None.
CONFORMITY TO COUNTY PRIORITIES:
This project conforms to the County's priority of Community & Economic Growth, creating a sense of place that retains and attracts visitors to the facility with continuous improvements, enhancing amenities and abilities to better service and provide for visitors to the facility. Continuous improvements to the facility drive economic growth in the area and allows the department to seek Long-Term Financial Stability through data-based decision making and planning and following all policies through accountability. The department will continue to promote safe communities and communicate the available resources and services to our residents and visitors of our communities.
