BOARD ACTION REQUESTED:
Approval of replacing UKG/Kronos timeclocks and support system, not to exceed $116,250
BACKGROUND:
Kronos is the County's time clock system for hourly employee tracking and is the main system for our Payroll Department
DISCUSSION:
The current UKG/Kronos timeclocks in several County buildings, excluding the Tower, have reached the end of their useful life and require replacement. The request includes replacing 31 timeclocks to ensure continued support for daily operations related to employee timekeeping, payroll, and attendance tracking. Replacing the machines will help avoid disruptions to payroll-related processes and support efficient operations across the County.
IMPACT ON HUMAN RESOURCES:
There is no impact on Human Resources.
IMPACT ON BUDGET:
This request, not to exceed $116,250.00, to be paid from the following accounts - 1010-228.01-978.005 - $102,300.00 for equipment and accessories; 1010-228.01-933.001 - $1,252.99 and pre-paid account 1010-000.00-123.00 - $12,697.01. Using September 1, 2026, as a start date for the Support Service.
IMPACT ON FACILITIES:
Coordination would be required to install new mounting hardware.

CONFORMITY TO COUNTY PRIORITIES:
This supports Long-Term Financial Stability by accurately reporting electronic time records for County employees.
