BOARD ACTION REQUESTED:
Approval of the reappointment of Commissioner James Avery to Genesee County's Parks & Recreation Commission for a 3-year term expiring on 01/01/2029.
BACKGROUND:
The Board of County Commissioners makes all appointments to Genesee County's Parks & Recreation Commission. Each term is for three years. Prospective appointees are recommended by the Board Chairperson for consideration by the full Board.
DISCUSSION:
Commissioner Avery has served on Parks & Recreation Commission since January 2023 and has indicated a desire to be reappointed. Chairman Weighill is recommending the reappointment of Commissioner Avery for an additional three-year term.

There will be no impact on HR.

There will be no additional impact on budget.
IMPACT ON FACILITIES:
There will be no impact on facilities.

WHEREAS, this Board of County Commissioners of Genesee County, Michigan ("this Board"), is authorized to appoint a member to the Genesee County Parks & Recreation Commission when an appointment term ends or a vacancy occurs; and
