TO THE HONORABLE CHAIRPERSON AND MEMBERS OF THE GENESEE COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS, GENESEE COUNTY, MICHIGAN
LADIES AND GENTLEMEN:
WHEREAS, this Board of County Commissioners of Genesee County, Michigan (“Board”), previously created the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (“DEI”) Commission pursuant to Resolution 2022-279; and
WHEREAS, the DEI Commission voting membership consists of two (2) County Commissioner members, two (2) County Employee members, and seven (7) Community members; and
WHEREAS, this Board now wishes to convert one (1) County Commissioner member position into a Community member position.
NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that this Board authorizes converting one (1) County Commissioner member position of the DEI Commission into a Community member position.
