BOARD ACTION REQUESTED:
Approval of a purchase order to various vendors for the FYE 2027, in an amount not to exceed $65,000.00 to provide for the purchase of tires at Genesee County’s Motor Pool; Vendors to include: Pomp Tires, Schneider Tire Outlet Inc, and other vendors if inventory of a request is not available. The cost for this purchase will be paid from account 6610-234.00-757.000
BACKGROUND:
Annually, the county purchases tires for various vehicles within the fleet. Motor Pool uses various vendors who give us government pricing, but each vendor only carries certain tires we need for our fleet of vehicles.
DISCUSSION:
By approving this request it will ensure we have continuous supply of tires to maintain our vehicles.

6610-234.00-757.000 = $65,000.00 is a budgeted expense
