TO THE HONORABLE CHAIRPERSON AND MEMBERS OF THE GENESEE COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS, GENESEE COUNTY, MICHIGAN
LADIES AND GENTLEMEN:

WHEREAS, the request for those records was denied initially on the basis that the requested records did not exist in Genesee County’s files and denied again with the clarification that the QVF is a statewide computerized system that is owned, maintained, and operated by the State of Michigan, Bureau of Elections, and that the records in that computer system are not Genesee County’s records; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Vetter has appealed the denial of his request.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that this Board of County Commissioners of Genesee County, Michigan, hereby denies Mr. Vetter’s appeal of his FOIA request denial, upholds the disclosure denial, dismisses the appeal, and directs that Mr. Vetter receive written notice of this Board’s determination regarding his appeal.
