BOARD ACTION REQUESTED:
Genesee County Parks and Recreation staff requests approval of an expense to CMP Distributors, Inc., in the amount of $1,270.00, for the purchase of ammunition for the Park Ranger Division.
BACKGROUND:
Park Rangers are responsible for protecting park visitors, employees, facilities, and natural resources across the Parks system. Maintaining an appropriate supply of ammunition ensures the Rangers are properly equipped to perform their law enforcement responsibilities and complete required firearms training and qualification standards.
DISCUSSION:
Expenses throughout all County departments with the vendor have exceeded the $30,000 threshold for FYE 2026.

IMPACT ON BUDGET:
Budgeted expense to be paid from account 2080-764.00-752.000.
NO USE OF GENERAL FUND.
