BOARD ACTION REQUESTED:
Seeking approval to issue purchase orders to MailRoom for FY2023-2024
BACKGROUND:
The Office of Fiscal Services is requesting to issue purchase orders to the MailRoom in order to provide mail services for the fiscal year ending September 30, 2024. This is continuation of services based on the request for proposal that was issued previously and approved by the Board. The amount requested is based on the department’s budget that were approved by the Board during the budget approval process.

CONFORMITY TO COUNTY PRIORITIES:
A mechanism in which the County informs Constituents of various requests is by mail. The County utilizes a vendor to assure that all mail that is sent is in compliance with Post Office requirements. The County has vetted this process and has selected The Mailroom to perform said services.

TO THE HONORABLE CHAIRPERSON AND MEMBERS OF THE GENESEE COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS, GENESEE COUNTY, MICHIGAN
LADIES AND GENTLEMEN:
BE IT RESOLVED, by this Board of County Commissioners of Genesee County, Michigan, that the request by the Office of Fiscal Services to authorize issuing purchase orders to the Mail Room Service Center for mail services for FY23-24 in an amount not to exceed $217,410.00, to be paid from the account numbers that appear on the attachment (a copy of the memorandum requested and supporting documentation being on file with the official records of the November 29, 2023 meeting of the Finance Committee of this Board).
