BOARD ACTION REQUESTED:
Genesee County Parks and Recreation staff requests approval to award ITB #26-495 - Cedar Shake and Shingle Roof Replacement to Weatherseal Home Improvements Co., Inc., in an amount not to exceed $590,205.00.
BACKGROUND:
ITB #26-495 was advertised by the Genesee County Purchasing Department. Three bids were received. Bids were reviewed by the Director and Director of Facilities Management. Weatherseal was the lowest bid. Parks has worked with Weatherseal in the past and was satisfied.
DISCUSSION:
Weatherseal will replace the following cedar shake and shingle roofs in Crossroads Village: Eldridge House, Coldwater Chapel, Stanley School House, School House Bathroom, Ticket Booth, Depot, Depot Restrooms, Attica Hotel, Mason Tavern, Masters's Cider Mill, Broom Barn, Print Shop, Fox House

NO USE OF GENERAL FUND.
Expense to be paid from account 2080-770.03-975.001.
