BOARD ACTION REQUESTED:
Budget transfer in the amount of $61,723.04 to facilitate modifications to pay scales of Judicial Law Clerk positions with the Circuit and Probate Courts.

Memorandum has been provided to Human Resources regarding pay scale modifications and renaming of the positions from “Judicial Advisory Assistant” to “Judicial Law Clerk.”
IMPACT ON BUDGET:
Budget transfer of $61,723.04 from 1010-294.00-801.004 to Circuit Court and Probate Court personnel line items, as specified in the attached budget amendment excel sheet. No additional budget allocation necessary.

TO THE HONORABLE CHAIRPERSON AND MEMBERS OF THE GENESEE COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS, GENESEE COUNTY, MICHIGAN
LADIES AND GENTLEMEN:
BE IT RESOLVED, by this Board of County Commissioners of Genesee County, Michigan, that the request by the Chief Judge of the 7th Judicial Circuit Court and Probate Court, to transfer $61,723.04 from 1010-294.00-801.004 to effectuate the authorized modifications to the Judicial Law Clerk positions with the Courts, is approved (a copy of the memorandum request dated September 29, 2023, and supporting documentation being on file with the official records of the October 11, 2023 meeting of the Finance Committee of this Board), and the Chief Financial Officer is directed to authorized the budget transfer.
