BOARD ACTION REQUESTED:
Authorization to accept the Emergency Management Performance Grants from Michigan State Police. This grant covers 11.417% of the cost of the Emergency Manager.
BACKGROUND:
This grant agreement provides federal pass-through funds to the Genesee County Sheriff's Office for the development and maintenance of an emergency management program capable of protecting life, property, and vital infrastructure in times of disaster or emergency. This year, our award is 11.417% of the cost of the Emergency Manager.
