BOARD ACTION REQUESTED:
Approval to upgrade the current Account Clerk position to an Administrative Secretary. The Account Clerk position is in the current approved General Fund budget.
BACKGROUND:
Upgrading the current Account Clerk position to an Administrative Secretary based on increased responsibilities and skillset needed to properly support the Facilities and Operations Director, staff, and computerized maintenance management software.
DISCUSSION:
The Administrative Secretary will be responsible for creating reports and tracking County assets, distributing work orders which is instrumental in Facilities and Operations workflow with the new computerized maintenance management software.
IMPACT ON HUMAN RESOURCES:
Human Resources will be responsible for posting and filling position.
IMPACT ON BUDGET:
The increase to the budget will be $11,161.00 at the top rate between the two positions.
IMPACT ON FACILITIES:
N/A
IMPACT ON TECHNOLOGY:
IT to set up required email or phone accounts.
CONFORMITY TO COUNTY PRIORITIES:
This conforms to Long Term Financial Stability as it supports the growing needs of the County and operations of the department to ensure data-based decision making and planning.
