Approval of Policy for \Dog Day Field trip
BACKGROUND:
Approval for Policy of Dog Day trips this is a program to get the Dogs out of the Kennel for the mental health of the Dogs that are stuck in a cage for 23 Hours. All dogs are approved for Day trips and selected approved walkers are able to participate in this process.

looking for Approval of this program that has been approved by Risk Management and Corporate Council.

TO THE HONORABLE CHAIRPERSON AND MEMBERS OF THE GENESEE COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS, GENESEE COUNTY, MICHIGAN
LADIES AND GENTLEMEN:
BE IT RESOLVED, by this Board of Commissioners of Genesee County, Michigan, that the request by the Genesee County Director of Animal Control to adopt a policy to provide for Dog Day trips as outlined in the memorandum request and supporting documentation is approved (said memorandum request and supporting documentation being on file with the November 29, 2023 meeting of the Governmental Operations committee of this Board).
