RE: Request authorization to amend budgets in BS&A

BOARD ACTION REQUESTED:
Genesee County Community Action Resource Department (GCCARD) requests authorization to amend the budgets in BS&A, from this committee and recommendation of acceptance by the full Genesee County Board of Commissioners at their next regularly scheduled meeting.
BACKGROUND:
The attached budget adjustment is for Head Start funds. The reason for these adjustments is to ensure expenditures won't exceed the budget. Adjustments were necessary to account for the direct services allocation for a county fiscal position, increased CSA county costs, reallocation for rental costs to the OLHSA fiduciary contract, as well as additional telephone and moving costs associated with the Head Start building move.

None.
IMPACT ON BUDGET:
None. Head Start is 100% grant funded, utilizing no general fund dollars.
IMPACT ON FACILITIES:
None. Head Start is relocating from the former GCCARD building to the Michigan Works building.

None.
IMPACT ON INDIRECT COSTS:
Indirect costs are not utilized.
