BOARD ACTION REQUESTED:
Approval of a contract with the Office of Sheriff and Lake Fenton Community Schools to provide one (1) SRO for the term of August 17, 2026, through June 4, 2027, at the cost of $145,984.00, to be paid by Lake Fenton Community Schools.
BACKGROUND:
This agreement ensures that the Sheriff's Office provides police services in the form of an SRO to Lake Fenton Community Schools during the 2026-2027 school year. This contract has been an extension of a partnership with Lake Fenton Schools since 2018.

There is no impact to the General Fund Budget for this contract. The contract cost of $145,984.00 will be paid by Lake Fenton Community Schools.
