BOARD ACTION REQUESTED:
The Genesee County Community Action Resource Department (GCCARD) requested expedited authorization to expend the Round Three contract amendment between the Valley Area Agency on Aging (VAAA) and Genesee County, previously approved to accept under RES-2025-1959 which increased funding for the Fiscal Year 2025 (FY25) Home Delivered and Congregate Meal Programs. GCCARD is requesting to expend this increase in funding by adding the listed fund numbers to Purchase Order (PO) #24-02771, with the amounts listed. This request does not exceed the previously approved amount of the PO.
BACKGROUND:
GCCARD received approval to accept a Round Three award under RES-2025-1959. This award increases funding for the FY25 Home Delivered and Congregate Meal Programs. GCCARD is requesting expedited approval to expend the increase from this award.
DISCUSSION:
GCCARD is requesting expedited approval to expense the increase in funding by adding the following fund numbers and allocations listed to PO #24-02771. This will ensure expenses align with revenue for FY25. Fund #2731-697.15-762.000 - $34,136.00, Fund #2731-697.15-765.000 - $5,000.00, Fund #2731-697.16-762.000 - $29,861.00, Fund #2731-697.16-765.000 - $5,000.00.
IMPACT ON HUMAN RESOURCES:
There will be no impact on Human Resources with this request.
IMPACT ON BUDGET:
GCCARD is requesting an increase of $73,997.00 budgeted for both meal programs allocated to PO #24-02771. This request will not increase the original amount of the previously approved PO.
