BOARD ACTION REQUESTED:
GCCARD requests authorization from the Finance Committee with a recommendation to the full Board to create, post and fill two (2) full-time, benefit Intake Outreach Specialist positions.
BACKGROUND:
GCCARD is requesting to create, post and fill two (2) full-time, benefit Intake Outreach Specialist positions. The Intake Outreach Specialist position holds a non-union classification and will assist in the organizing, implementation, and administration of GCCARD program operations. This position will also aid in providing services to the various Genesee County residents seeking assistance through homelessness prevention efforts.
DISCUSSION:
Intake Outreach Specialist support will promote productivity with current services as well as upcoming programs/services.
IMPACT ON HUMAN RESOURCES:
Human Resources will aide in the recruitment/onboarding process
IMPACT ON BUDGET:
The full-time, benefit Intake Outreach Specialist positions will be fully funded within GCCARD's budgeted grant funds including 2810-695.41-702.000 and related fringe accounts. A budget amendment is attached.
IMPACT ON FACILITIES:
No impact on facilities.
IMPACT ON TECHNOLOGY:
IT will aide in the configuration of computers within GCCARD's inventory to ensure the staff member has access to all software needed to perform the tasks outlined in the Intake Outreach Specialist full-time benefit job description.

As a Community Action Agency, this position will promote Healthy, Livable and Safe Communities and Community Growth.
