BOARD ACTION REQUESTED:
At the request of the GCCARD Head Start program, Fiscal services is requesting to send one Financial Analyst to the WIPFLI Conference in Las Vegas, Nevada.
BACKGROUND:
This is a four-day conference focused on training relevant to the Federal Head Start programs and the Office of Management and Budget guidelines that govern federal granting.
DISCUSSION:
The estimated cost of this training and travel is as follows:
To be fully grant funded. Funding for this conference will come from accounts 2801-697.07-910.004 ($2,500) and 2801-697.07-913.000 ($2,956.40).
IMPACT ON HUMAN RESOURCES:
None.
IMPACT ON BUDGET:
This is a budgeted expense, 100% grant funded and has no impact on General Fund.
IMPACT ON FACILITIES:
None.
IMPACT ON TECHNOLOGY:
None.
CONFORMITY TO COUNTY PRIORITIES:
Providing training to vital staff on grant programs helps maintain the Long-Term Financial Stability of the county by ensuring GCCARD funding is properly handled, and the continued funding and success of those community action programs are retained.

LADIES AND GENTLEMEN:
